Within this post I have created a storyboard for a web-based animation and the finalised animation right bellow the storyboard.
Storyboard.

I have created a storyboard with 8 continuous panels dictating what will happen within the fully generated animation. Annotations and description can be seen within each panel explaining what happens.
Full Screen Web-Based Animation.
Within “Figure 2” I have created a full screen web-based animation that can be used within a landing page in a website. This animation has an introductory phase of the orange room, with the addition of an informative page with the brand logo and a CTA.
Animation Element 1: The first animation I have created was a distorted room by using 3D elements to construct a room, then adjusting the effect “Gradient Ramp” to give it a warp effect, additionally the walls have been created with squares to mimic comic panels to fit the brand.
Animation Element 2: The next animation that I have generated was to do with the comic book that spins to grab the viewers attention and to show its importance, it suddenly stops with the camera quickly panning to it in which it rapidly flicks open on a random page and the camera enters one of the panels.
Animation Element 3: Once the camera zooms through the panel, text has been animated by hand to give it a smooth flow with 3 overlapping colours that are offset ever so slightly purely for aesthetic purposes, additionally the 3 overlapping colours have the 3 brand colours to once again enforce the brand identity.
Animation Element 4: The Animated logo that has been created and explored in the “Animated Brand Asset Pack” post has been placed into this animation to enforce the brand and ensure the viewers understand what brand this animation is from.
Animation Element 5: Lastly a small CTA typographical animation has been placed at the end of the video to encourage viewers to get engaged and visit the business. Bold characters with a strong black drop shadow was used to give it that comic title look.
Animation Proof.
