Within this post I have created an animation that can be used to promote my brand, this animation has been created in such a size that it would play perfectly within an iPhone which can be demonstrated in “figure 2”.
Social Media Advertisement.
A mobile advertisement has been constructed within figure 1 and can be viewed with an iPhone format in figure 2.
I created the animation with the door to represent a customer entering the establishment and being presented with a plethora of different comic titles that can be purchased and read. The titles have been created in a circle by having a centre point on the left hand side of the screen, and by duplicating the text with a 6 degree rotation for a full circle when duplicated 60 times, the names moved by having a null object placed on the left hand side of the screen and parenting all of the texts to it so they slowly rotate around the null object gradually revealing all the titles.
The text “Unlock your next obsession at, Northern Collective” has been manually written with the pen tool, then applying the stoke effect and setting the end point to 0 using the stop watch at a specific point, finally putting the end point to 100 a few seconds later to give it a smooth flow from start to finish. Additionally 3 layers have been duplicated and offset by a fraction of a second with the brand colours to enforce the brand identity.
Lastly I included a CTA using a comic themed button that the users can press and access the brands website. This has been created so the viewers can easily navigate to the brands website and explore further without being lost. The CTA pulsates regularly to bring the attention of the animation to the CTA to encourage viewers to press on it.
