The chosen festival is for this assignment is TwitchCon which was established in September 25th 2015 by a man called Emmett Shear. TwitchCon is a bi-annual event that lasts for 2 days and takes place once in Europe and once in North America with an attendance of around 30,000 people.
When organising such a complex festival there are numerous problem spaces that the organisers face, in addition the user wants and needs which are listed bellow:

The Problem space is different from the mobile application to the website, this is because the website version is mainly used to purchase the tickets, whereas the mobile application is used for more information about the event and to store the QR codes for access.
The customer reviews for TwitchCon had a few complaints that will be useful to the development on my festival. The complaints can include people getting lost, scattered litter and staff not properly trained. All of these factors must be taken into consideration as it will ultimately lead to a positive user experience.
Finally the tickets will be purchased within the festivals website and should include usability goals. The first usability goal would be for the website to be easily navigable to avoid unnecessary confusion. Secondly, it should be memorable so once a user comes back to the website they can retrace their steps with ease. Additionally, an effective search engine within the website can be used, so that users may be able to navigate to what they’re looking for simply by searching it up in a search bar, in addition to this, once a user has used the search engine and has made a spelling mistake, the search engine can determine what they’re trying to type and still find their required result. Lastly, the buttons within the website should be clear and have clear prompt, this is so the user doesn’t get lost within the website and doesn’t start clicking randomly in a panic.
