Development Timeline / To Do List

Within this post I will be stating the progression of the mid fidelity website prototype with an additional to do list for when the high fidelity version comes into development.

Development Timeline:

Within the first and second week I have written out all of the posts/created wireframes before creating the mid fidelity website prototype, this was done so I had a good understanding of what direction I would take to creating the prototype without any mistakes. All of the planning beforehand ensured I created a good prototype with as little as possible flaws.

Within the last weeks I have created my mid fidelity website prototype with the addition of peer assessments. For example the website homepage had a huge change in style which can be seen bellow with a before and after:

More details about peer assessments can be seen in the “Feedback & Iteration” post within this assessment.

To Do List:

There are a few thing that need finalising within my mid fidelity website prototype which will be listed bellow:

  • Text – Text will be implemented within the prototype to inform users what the corresponding image means, for example having text beside the image of one of our staff members to explain who they are and what they do.
  • Images – Within the prototype there are boxes with a distinct “X” in the middle, this is a simple reminder to myself to input an image when creating the high fidelity. Just like the text, images will support the corresponding text to show what the text is talking about.
  • Colour – Colour will be added within the high fidelity prototype with the colours being a light green and a standard green, this is done to give the website more life instead of looking like a text document for a hospital.
