In continuation from post 1, this post will also primarily focus on the design and progression of how to construct the perfect Destiny 2 companion mobile application, this will be done using a “User Flow Chart” and “User Interface Wireframe”.
The user flowchart will demonstrate how every page will be accessible for users such as the “New Releases” page. On the other hand, the U.I wireframe will demonstrate how every page will be laid out once the final product has been constructed.
User Flow Chart
Firstly the User Flow Chart can be viewed here –> (Flow).
A user flowchart is a design that shows how a user will access the companion application. There are a few reasons to why a flowchart is constructed such as lowering the risk of errors and sharing product aims. Whilst using Figjam a user flowchart has been constructed for the Destiny 2 companion application, this flowchart includes all the important steps that a user may encounter within the application such as, once they sign up for the first time a tutorial plays explaining the user what every page is so they do not get lost. The tutorial has been set up primarily for UX purposes to ensure the user stays on the application instead of being overwhelmed and leaving.
User Interface Wireframe
Secondly the U.I Wireframe can be viewed here –> (Wireframe).
The next step was to create a wireframe for the companion application. Within the wireframe a simplistic design has been constructed without major addictions such as functioning buttons and images, this was done to show how the application will be laid out. Once the application is in development, the major aspects of the application will be incorporated. Unlike the user flowchart being constructed on Figjam, the U.I wireframe has been constructed on Figma Design, the thought process behind this was that in the Figma Design version, precise illustrations can be made.
