Within post 5 I will be demonstrating and explaining how the Website and Mobile application are used and all of the interactive elements that have been implemented within them.
WEBSITE AND MOBILE APPLICATION VIDEOS
The mid fidelity website and mobile application have now been created with interactive elements which are clearly shown in the 2 videos listed bellow.
Many things can still be improved upon the website and mobile application as Martin Leblanc (2018) stated that “A user interface is like a joke. If you have to explain it, its not that good.” Ultimately leading to a closer inspection if everything within the website and mobile application is user friendly and easy to navigate without questions within my finished product.
INTERACTIVE ELEMENTS
The interactive elements within the website have been shown above in the video, the first one being once you hover either of the 5 buttons at the top, they will turn a HEX colour of #720303 which is my brand dark red colour. This is done to ensure that the users can clearly know what they are about to press in case a user has certain poor eye vision. The next interactive element is once a user has pressed on any of the 5 buttons, it will redirect them to the corresponding page with no issue, for example once a user presses the “Main Menu” button it will redirect them to the main menu and not the settings page.
The interactive elements of the mobile application have also been shown above with the corresponding video, the first and only one being that once a user has pressed a button it will function without difficulty, for example when pressing the “Back” button it will move you back a page until there is no where to go back to, another example being once the tickets icon is pressed it will redirect the user to the tickets page.
RESPONSIVE LAYOUTS
To ensure a flawless user experience the layout of the website and mobile application should be responsive, this means that once a user has accessed the website it should function without any faults no matter what device they operate, ranging from a desktop PC to a tablet and smartphone. Finally once the mid fidelity website and application have been reviewed by users, change will be inevitable and the next step will be to incorporate the users suggestions to the final high fidelity website and mobile companion application.
